This time, I'm not writing a tragedy.
I want to write a story about love and hope. I don't want to write about revenge and irreconcilable partings anymore.
Looking back at A River and Mountains Freely Surrendered,
I see only a life spent missing one another, or a life spent loving the wrong person. In the end, neither of them found happiness.
We always think the opposite of love is hate, but it isn't.
No matter how many coincidences or hardships brought these two people together, the nature of love never changes.
But sometimes, even when we know how beautiful love is, we can't resist the calculations, pettiness, and desire for reward that are part of human nature.
And so people turn away, then spend the rest of their lives refusing to look back.
But someone once told me: Love has no opposite. Love is simply love.
Whatever the ending may be, it cannot erase the beginning of that love. The most beautiful thing in this world is when a broken relationship is mended.
So I thought it over and over. Perhaps she was right.
I've written so many stories about walking away when love is not returned, so I thought I'd try something different...
People's hearts are so fickle and impossible to fathom, but the essence of love is that the heart cannot lie...
When one person loves another, even if they have to part, their hearts still cannot deceive each other.
So I want to write about love, light, warmth, a breeze brushing the face, and the most beautiful April day in the world.
