[Crossover] A Disaster in the Making

When I first started playing Touken Ranbu, even though I'd read all your self-insert fanfics, I didn't believe the Time Government really existed. When I first joined the Time Government and went to purify a dark citadel, even though its previous owners had either died or gone mad, I thought that if I kept my head down, I could earn an absurd salary and become rich. When I first fell into Hueco Mundo, even though I'd gone hungry and spent a long time alone, I thought that as long as I could stay by that big kitty's side, we'd both make it back to my world in one piece. When I first traveled around Italy without a visa, even though three strange counts gave me trouble, I thought I could still live a peaceful life while looking after a little kid. When I first transmigrated to Japan during the Warring States period, even though I'd heard the demons of that era were so over-the-top they could spiral into the sky, I was lucky enough to meet miko who took their duties seriously. When I first arrived in another Warring States era, where ninjas and war raged side by side, even though that world was a complete mess, before faking my death I believed my friends would build their own paradise and protect all their younger brothers.

...But the Time Government really does exist. My absurd salary was frozen. Forget getting rich, I was almost forced to go to Jushan Hospital and dance provocatively. It was true that I returned to my own world, but I left my heart behind. The three strange counts helped me pull through after a kid stabbed me. Demons can be good or bad, and they're complicated, but every miko left me with psychological scars. Years later, I went back and found the world still torn apart by war. My two friends suddenly fought to the death, and the site of their final battle even became a tourist attraction.

...And I never knew that the reason I kept coming back to life, dying, and coming back again was actually...

Anyway, everything's doomed. That's all there is to it.

I'm back. I'll do my best to finish the story and give the whole thing a major revision.
