[Gintama] The Undying

◇◆Blurb◆◇ What can more than a thousand years of time turn someone into? A person with dissociative identity disorder and a flair for the dramatic. Yaesaki has no physical body. She can't remember how long she's existed, and can't be bothered to look back. The first time she met Utsuro, the future big bad who wanted to take the planet down with him was still an underage boy at the mercy of others. The villagers at the foot of the mountain all liked to call him affectionately: "Demon." The second time she met Utsuro, he still had no name. Wanted posters from the government were everywhere. After the deeply sinful demon was captured, he put on a mask, became the "Shinigami," and officially left his days as an unemployed drifter behind. The leader of the Tenshoin Naraku changed more than a dozen times. For the strange personalities inside Utsuro, Yaesaki had only one demand over the past few centuries: "Just let your bangs down, and we can talk about everything." She can't kill him, and he can't kill her. In short, this is a story about two immortals glaring at each other. The main story is complete. The update schedule for the extras depends on how busy I am in real life. The only thing I can guarantee is that I'll finish the extras. ◇◆A Few Things to Know Before Reading◆◇ · All characters, plot, and dialogue from the original belong to the author of Gintama, Hideaki Sorachi. This is purely for my own enjoyment. · As always, a slow burn, and as always, a wildly eccentric flight of fancy. · Once I start a story, I'll always finish it. I swear on 300 yen. · Favorites and comments are what keep me updating. Really. · Whether there'll be a male lead in the traditional sense is still undecided, but Utsuro and Shoyo will probably be at the center of things. · The Shoka Sonjuku raising-the-kids arc is in√ · This is just a flight of fancy I wrote for fun, and the original will definitely prove me wrong, so please don't take it too seriously. · It works if you think of it as a parallel universe. · The window's open, so feel free to click the X and escape at any time. Maybe we'll meet again.
