Apart from that hard-to-read male idol, Chen Cuifang has had everything go her way since childhood, thanks to her stunning beauty. Proud and stubborn, she'd rather break than bend, and would rather stay single with her head held high than settle for less with her idol.

Until one day, her life suddenly takes a turn for the worse. To protect her family, she has no choice but to swallow her pride and marry her idol, even though his love for her is nowhere near as strong as hers for him.

At her husband's home, she struggles through one hardship after another, relying on her wits. At least she gets what she wants in the end. The supporting woman in her life may be more accomplished and more beloved by her idol, but she doesn't seem all that vicious, and hasn't tried to destroy her completely. Only when she looks back does Chen Cuifang realize that the supporting woman has always treasured her.
