[Marvel/Captain America] Sailing Together with You

For storing story ideas; updates are irregular. The female lead is a Chongming Bird, a divine beast of Huaxia. In Steve Rogers's memories, Yu Wuqing was an Allied comrade-in-arms, an upright and steadfast companion, and a friend he could trust with his back. She carried the distinctive charm of the ancient East and fought with all her strength to protect her country. To Yu Wuqing, Steve Rogers was a former comrade-in-arms, a man who should have died. He was one of the most influential figures in a country with formidable military might that wantonly instigated wars. Someone she had to be wary of. "War is merely the continuation of politics," Yu Wuqing said. Her voice was clear, even said to ring like a phoenix's cry. But now her tone was calm, and her gaze, with its double pupils, was cool and detached. "Wars break out when people want privileges, territory, or dignity. And sooner or later, two great powers will collide as they grow stronger, until one side backs down or can no longer bear the cost of war." "Steve, we are no longer allies, and you and I can hardly call ourselves friends. The only thing we can do now is pray that war comes later rather than sooner."
