The little Taotie, Na Xi, had taken a lazy nap. When he woke up, he found the world outside had completely changed.
The spiritual energy on the mountain was gone, and so was the yin energy. He fed on spiritual and yin energy, and now his stomach was rumbling with hunger.
Unable to get enough to eat and so hungry he felt dizzy, he had no choice but to go down the mountain in search of food.
At the foot of the mountain, he encountered a human surrounded by black yin energy.
Wow, food!
The little Taotie's eyes lit up. He lunged forward and gobbled up the yin energy, finally eating his fill, only to be grabbed by the scruff of his neck by the human.
He Wenheng: "This little kitten is all claws and attitude. Must have just been weaned, huh? Since fate brought us together, come home with me."
He took the little Taotie home and fed him cat food, goat's milk, cat treats, and hairball paste. He got him a cat tree, catnip, a scratching board, a teaser wand, and a cat house. But his "kitten" didn't like any of it.
He Wenheng got worried, wondering if there was something wrong with his cat, and asked cat owners everywhere for advice.
The little Taotie slept with the domineering CEO every day, eating the yin energy from his body until he was full and cozy. He was having a wonderful time.
But then he noticed that the CEO took him to all sorts of places to meet all sorts of people every day, as if he were planning to give him away.
The little Taotie panicked: QAQ! I'm hungry! Don't give me away!
Afraid the CEO would no longer want him and he'd have to go hungry again, he decided to do his best to pretend to be a cat. So, in a moment of excitement, he ate everything in sight.
He Wenheng was shocked to discover that the cat food and its bowl had disappeared, along with the cat tree and scratching board. Even the cat house had mysteriously vanished, and priceless paintings, porcelain, and antiques hadn't escaped either.
He checked the security footage and discovered that the one who had eaten all those things was his own little kitten.
What shocked him even more was that one morning, his little kitten had turned into a fair-skinned, soft-looking young boy, and a very hungry one at that!
Na Xi: "Hungry. Food. Don't send me away."
He Wenheng: "..."
What could he do?
What else? Keep him, of course!
