Update notice:
This story is now updating at a turtle's pace. I'm prioritizing another novel, My Boss Qin Shi Huang. Come check it out!
[The bystander's version ^O^]:
A woodcutter girl at the foot of Muto Mountain accidentally rescues a handsome immortal who's been poisoned. She claims she wants to marry him to save his life, but in truth she's overcome by lust and tricks him into marriage to steal his seed.
Only after she's had her fill does she discover that this handsome immortal has a secret identity.
And so the girl rises from humble beginnings to become a phoenix, a crown princess. Too bad being crown princess isn't easy! She has to fight not only her love rival, but her father-in-law, too.
Why does everyone seem to have it in for her?
When the girl can't win, she runs away. Then she goes off to be reincarnated, barely clinging to life.
After she's reborn, her husband catches her and drags her back. She has no choice but to grit her teeth and fight again.
All the girl wants is to go home, chop wood, farm, and raise the kids, okay?
She levels up, fights monsters, and learns new skills all the way from woodcutter girl to empress. How exhausting.
[Little skit ⊙▽⊙]:
Young Fox (adjusting his glasses): We're on the set of a sweet-and-angsty historical xianxia romance. Please welcome the host, female lead, and first-person narrator, A Mu!
A Mu (very excited): Come on, everyone's here! First question: You've all been single for ten thousand years or more. How do you deal with, um... that problem?
All the handsome immortals stare at A Mu in unison...
A Mu (awkwardly wiping sweat): Ahem, I mean... the question of heirs...
Father God (sipping tea): I can make sons!
Yaguang (smiling): I can make Apan give birth to a son!
Bipan (shyly): Well... I really can give birth.
A Mu (Q_Q): Did I walk onto the wrong set?
Bifang (holding A Mu and gazing at her tenderly): Don't cry, A Mu. I can make you give birth to a son.
A short xianxia tale with farming and a sweet tone, plus a little angst. The ending is guaranteed to be happy.
This is the first book in the Reincarnation Path series, The Empress Is a Little Wooden Girl. Main characters: A Mu and Bifang. Supporting characters: Yaguang, Father God, Bipan, Qionghua, Jiutian, and others. There are no absolute villains; every character has a story of their own.
Coming next: The second book in the Reincarnation Path series, Plum Fruit. Plum Fruit has not been released yet. It's a danmei romance about a handsome immortal falling in love with a male tree spirit, featuring Yaguang and Bipan. The premise is fresh and the imagination runs wild, so stay tuned!
[A Nan's ramblings]: Meow meow, this is a story A Nan doesn't want to give up on. I'd already locked it away, but now it's finally back out... I don't know why so few people like it, because I really love this story. When writing it, I relied entirely on my imagination and stream of consciousness, without polishing anything, and it felt amazing. While working on the later plot ideas and outline, I was moved to tears. Okay, I was the only one who moved myself (covers face), and no one else was touched... If any little angels like this story too, raise your hands in the comments... I finished the outline ages ago. Telling the story in first person really isn't very appealing. I asked a lot of friends for advice, and they all suggested revising it and changing the point of view. I said I'd make the changes, but deep down I really, really resisted... The little wooden girl in my heart will always live within her own perceptions. She is an outpouring of consciousness, and a dream of A Nan's, commemorating the little things that left A Nan helpless and with nowhere to turn to talk about them...
Ramblings over. I hope that picking this story back up will help me regain my confidence, too.
Ahhhhhh, I thought it was updated... Please update, please update!
I almost lost my hand, so I saved it to the Danmei column. I originally wanted to save romance (??)
Ah... I've finished reading... I'm going to fight Qin Shihuang~
Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha, the big turtle in Journey to the West is so bright and dazzling.
Let's change the money for milk powder. After all, there was no such thing at that time. How about changing it to money for wet nurses (??????)??
Hahahaha, money for milk powder is a big deal
Mom? Is this going to her mother-in-law? Mother-in-law is dead? After that, I imagined another 1.08 Million bloody drama_(:3∠ )_
Ah ah ah, is it possible that they are the biological father and son⊙ω⊙
This chapter made me think about the bloody drama of 1.08 Million
Is this turning to the route of palace fighting?
