The Drunken Makeup Song (Matriarchal Society)

A courtesan in a country ruled by women is much like a prostitute, except that she is a woman. She serves others with her beauty and is scorned by the world, with a status even lower than that of a prostitute. Even if she leaves the trade, no one is willing to marry her, condemning her to a miserable life... A history book once recorded the Taizu Empress of Zhuoyan admonishing: "Courtesans come from the lowest class. They are the dregs of society, despised by all under Heaven, the disgrace of womankind." After that, it became even harder for courtesans to make a living... Qianran played a game of Go against Huaxian and Wuji. One against two, she placed stones with both hands, entirely unruffled. Partway through the game, Huaxian suddenly asked, "Ran, you are a proud chrysanthemum. Why debase yourself like this?" Qianran paused, then smiled. "My hatred runs as deep as the sea. Pride is useless." Huaxian was taken aback and asked, confused, "Since ancient times, beautiful men have been blamed for bringing ruin. You are a beauty yourself, Ran. How could you bring down a country?" Wuji cut in: "One person is all it takes for Ran to destroy a country!" A celebrated courtesan of her generation, she bears a blood feud. Her deft hands conceal a world-shaking secret... This is a women-dominated-world story featuring male pregnancy. If that's not your thing, please don't read.
