The Workaholic in the Beloved Idlefish Group's Contrast Character Story

I don't have much inspiration, so I'll leave this here for now.

After living a second life, Jiang Yiming realized he was the villainous cannon fodder in a novel about a pampered, idle, beloved-by-all young master. The cousin he had always looked down on for being lazy and gluttonous was the protagonist, and Jiang Yiming's sole purpose in life was to serve as a contrast to him.

His cousin had the script of a cherished darling: a young master from a distinguished family who cared about nothing. He would lie flat and do nothing, yet countless influential people would deliver opportunities to him. In the end, the crown prince fell for him, a general truly loved him, the richest man doted on him, and the prime minister cherished him. He spent his whole life in comfort, enjoying every luxury.

Jiang Yiming, meanwhile, was born to toil. As a child, he fought to secure his branch of the family's standing. As an adult, he fought for the family's honor. After finally earning the crown prince's favor, he was despised by him for disapproving of his cousin's behavior. Cast out of the centers of power, he became someone everyone could look down on.

Not fighting, just lying flat: was that the true meaning of life?

What a joke!

Jiang Yiming had never given up on anything in his life. In the end, he had lost because he hadn't worked hard enough. Emperors rise and fall in turn, so why couldn't he become a workaholic emperor?

And so...

While his pampered cousin was enjoying romantic moments with the crown prince, Jiang Yiming seized the chance to provide disaster relief and won over the people of every region.

While his idle cousin was whining about nothing with the general, Jiang Yiming secured the frontier garrison and built up his own private army.

While his delicate cousin was spending lavishly with the richest man in the land, Jiang Yiming made money multiply, swallowing up eighty percent of the country's businesses.

While his fickle cousin was indulging in forbidden thrills with the prime minister and his brothers, Jiang Yiming rose to become the leader of the poor scholars and the head of the nobility.

With grain stored in abundance and high walls built, as the protagonist cousin agonized over which of the four men to choose, Jiang Yiming rebelled.

Theme: Work hard to build wealth. Lying flat and letting yourself go is not the way.
