Am I Qin Ershi?

Opens on 10/18

In the thirty-seventh year of Qin Shi Huang's reign, the emperor fell ill and died at Shaqiu.

When he woke again, he had unexpectedly returned to life in the body of the young Hu Hai.

In his left ear, a noisy self-introduction from something called the System. In his right, Zhao Gao was smooth-talking Li Si into helping forge an imperial edict.

He listened to the whole exchange, suppressing his shock and confusion, then fell silent for a moment.

Facing Zhao Gao, who was fawning and eager for credit, Ying Zheng asked just one question.

"And what if my other elder brothers refuse to accept Hu Hai?"

"Anyone who disobeys the late emperor's edict should naturally be buried with him in the imperial mausoleum."

Ying Zheng smiled, raised his sword, and cut off Zhao Gao's head.

Heaven might be bringing Qin to ruin, but fortunately, he had returned.

Ignoring Li Si, whose face was splattered with blood and frozen in shock, Ying Zheng turned to the thing in the air that called itself the System.

"Now, it's time you told me what you are."

"What are your intentions, staying by my side?"

Reader's Guide:

1. Brother Zheng transmigrates into Hu Hai's body. Later references to the Second Emperor will appear many times, but they have nothing to do with Hu Hai.

2. This is a spur-of-the-moment idea, a prequel written before I research the novel about the fate of the nation. I decided to start it first, and it won't be very long.

Theme: A change of identity can still lead to a whole new world of possibilities!
