[Jean X Gero] A Dog's Purpose

[Blurb]

Is Gene more like a cat or a dog?

He looks so languid and nonchalant, yet his gaze is always fixed in a certain direction...

Who is the steadfast figure standing in front of Gene's calm gaze?

[Notes]

Pairing: Gene x Glo Suola

The title comes from the recent heartwarming movie A Dog's Purpose, about a pet dog who protects and keeps its owner company. The film has been translated under titles including A Dog's Heart, A Dog's Mission, and To Meet You.

This story covers the plot through episode five of the anime. It may be mildly influenced by later manga events, but contains no specific plot spoilers. Also, in the Chinese anime translation, the word "suki da" ("I like you") in Gene's line, as relayed by Nino, was translated as "admire." This note is included to clear up any confusion readers may have.
