A mid-length work set in an alternate universe. The pairing is Shuang Bei (Sa He), and it is a crossover with the worldbuilding of Type-Moon's Fate series. The series has an enormously vast and complex independent world. Although the Fate backgrounds and concepts featured here will be explained, readers unfamiliar with every Fate title may still encounter some difficulty.
Reading this will inevitably spoil parts of the Fate series' hidden worldbuilding, as well as major later developments in some titles. To avoid spoiling this story, I won't identify the specific Fate titles that appear here. Readers who plan to try the Fate games, anime, or novels, or who haven't finished playing, watching, or reading a Fate title, should proceed with caution.
This work is 75,000 Chinese characters long. Since the plot is highly continuous, reading it all in one go will make for a better experience.
Because of the subject matter and my personal tastes, the writing style occasionally shifts into that of a Japanese light novel. One early reader said, "It's a little chuuni." Please be aware.
