[Naruto] The Sorrow of Love and Separation

Two people who should never have crossed paths found a point of connection. Uzumaki Naruto and Uchiha Itachi, the Nine-Tails jinchuriki and the one who captures jinchuriki, a sun-bright boy and a gentle, jade-like boy met. The lonely Uzumaki Naruto was gradually consumed by that gentle boy, until his eyes and heart belonged entirely to him. Uchiha Itachi loved his younger brother, Uchiha Sasuke. He rejected Uzumaki Naruto and used Naruto's feelings to pave the way for Sasuke's future. Naruto was more than happy to be of help to Uchiha Itachi. This stubborn love was destined to have no end. Death drew a heavy line beneath it all. Uchiha Sasuke loved Uzumaki Naruto. His eyes were always on him. But Uzumaki Naruto was always looking at someone else through him. Only later did Sasuke learn that the person was Uchiha Itachi, his brother, whom he both loved and hated. Uzumaki Naruto had eyes only for Uchiha Itachi. He always had. Sasuke had never asked him to do anything for him. He didn't need a dead-last sticking his nose into his business. As Sasuke looked at the cold body in his hands, its face drained of life, his heart trembled. Uchiha Sasuke loves Uzumaki Naruto. Did you know? (Notes: 1. Uzumaki Naruto met Uchiha Itachi when he was young. 2. Unlike in the original, Naruto was not born ignorant. 3. Naruto doesn't know his background. 4. Naruto never met Jiraiya. 5. Naruto never met Gaara. 6. Naruto is no weakling.) (The love triangle: Uzumaki Naruto loves Uchiha Itachi, Uchiha Itachi loves Uchiha Sasuke, and Uchiha Sasuke loves Uzumaki Naruto.) 1. Somewhere between a serious drama and a tragedy. 2. The three of them simply don't end up together. 3. The plot isn't angsty. 4. Told in flashback. (A little Naruto-all.) Theme:
