An Unexpected Encounter

Work blurb: Ye Zi can't figure out whether the photographer has too much free time, or whether she dug too many graves in her past life and forgot to burn incense for good luck. Why else would she run into Duan Yu, a shameless human burr who sticks to her like glue, at thirty? He follows her to work, follows her to meals, and even tags along when she goes out to do fieldwork! Ye Zi: The accommodations are rough this time. There aren't enough rooms, and they're all single beds... Duan Yu raised an eyebrow. Don't worry, we can stack ourselves like acrobats. Ye Zi: Get lost! You're sleeping on the floor! Life blurb: Before thirty, Ye Zi read danmei novels every day, enjoying her own little fantasies without involving anyone else. She never tired of it. After thirty, Ye Zi got her hands on Duan Yu's abs and finally understood: this is exhausting... A roguishly handsome photographer with eight-pack abs X a thirty-year-old archaeology PhD with no dating experience, conservative views, and a veteran fujoshi heart A few things to know before reading: 1. The male lead has had a girlfriend before, but this has a happy ending, and both leads are sexually inexperienced. 2. The female lead is a fujoshi, but she keeps her fantasies to herself and doesn't let them affect her real life. 3. The male lead may be a rogue, but that doesn't mean he's promiscuous. Please don't jump to conclusions based on your own life experience. 4. The author isn't an archaeologist. Corrections are welcome if anything is inaccurate, but please don't make mindless attacks. Thanks! 5. Please don't compare this story to other works, nitpick, or be mean. If you don't like it, just click the X. No need to make things hard for each other. Kisses~ Theme: I am willing to spend my whole life protecting the treasures history has left behind.
