The Actress Is an Old Cadre

***Weibo: @Jie Yun Ya*** A wealthy heiress with an old-fashioned, no-nonsense attitude X a passionate, mother-hen-like young master with a clingy childhood friend The heroine is beautiful, busty, slim-waisted, and long-legged, with astonishing combat skills. She could easily get by on her looks, but insists on relying on her talent. This is an uplifting, heartwarming little story about Qu Jin, an old-fashioned young woman who was kidnapped and sold as a child and became fascinated with acting. With no (fake) influential family background, she takes on the entertainment industry, while her childhood friend, gifted with maxed-out cooking skills, helps her grow up strong and well-fed. Early on: Chang Qi: Qu Jin, you're done for. You've gained another three pounds this month! Qu Jin, wearing a stern and serious old-fashioned expression: It doesn't matter if I'm fat. A healthy diet is what counts. Later on: Qu Jin, looking stern: Brother Chang... I'm done for. I've gained another three pounds this month! Chang Qi smiled dotingly. A little extra weight is fine. I like it. (His large hand smoothly brushed the soft flesh at her waist as he thought, It's definitely time to have a baby.) Oh, right. I bought some fresh local fish for soup. It needs to simmer over low heat for four or five hours. You can try it when you get back after the awards ceremony and tell me if you like it. Qu Jin's appetite was instantly whetted. Her face turned soft and cute as she cried excitedly, Awooo~ That's so great~ Qi Qi, mwah~ (*/ω╲*) == A guide to this story: No reborn plot, revenge plot, or angst. The whole story is about acting, sweetness, childhood sweethearts, food, cute pets, and an overprotective brother. The early part focuses on her career, and the later part on romance. A heads-up: 1. The male lead loves showing off his cooking and is very talkative, but only around the heroine. 2. The heroine is infatuated with her white moonlight in the early chapters. My upcoming novels Theme:
