Huh? I'm a Guide?

Kong Shaqi suddenly came down with a high fever and was rushed to the hospital. After a battery of tests, a group of overjoyed staff members gathered around her. "Congratulations! You've awakened as a rare Guide!" Kong Shaqi, still woozy from the fever: "Huh? Awakened as what? A what?" After the people around her enthusiastically explained, Kong Shaqi pieced together what Guides did: keep an eye on Sentinels' mental states, help them with regular mental guidance, and collect a huge paycheck. Flexible hours, excellent working conditions, and no competition from colleagues?! Kong Shaqi was instantly full of energy. She could do this job, one where she could never get fired, for the rest of her life! Looking back on how excited she was at that moment, the future Kong Shaqi could only think she had been terribly naive. There is no such thing as an easy client in this world. (Lights a cigarette with world-weary resignation) The Sentinels: I thought you saw me as your future wife, but you only see me as a client who loves to make trouble? Reader's Guide: This is a crossover universe combining Sentinel-Guide settings with various sports anime. There are so few crossover Sentinel-Guide stories, so I decided to cook one up myself. (Wipes away a tear) My take on Sentinel-Guide settings (take notes): everyone is responsible for spoiling the author. The main story ends with no pairing, and there are no ships to bet on, though other characters do have unrequited feelings for the heroine along the way. Career-focused, feel-good story with a happy ending. The storylines have been heavily altered. If you spot any plot holes or out-of-character moments, please be gentle. Please don't mention this story under other authors' works, and don't mention other authors' works in the comments here. Thank you qwq Theme: Love makes people stronger
