Every Morning Before Work, I See My Roommate Face-Slapping Himself

Hello, everyone! At the call of our lovely friends, this cheerful daydream-and-cute-trope series has reached its third installment.

This story is more or less about someone driven to desperation by a toxic boss, a toxic company, and a toxic landlord. Crushed by the forces of evil capital, he has no choice but to bow to the power of shared housing. As his values clash spectacularly with those of his housemates and sparks fly, he evolves into a househusband. It’s a sad, realistic story about how life makes you grow old.

...All right, it’s not actually that dramatic. This guy is a naive, sweet little rich kid who eats with a golden spear in hand.

Isn’t the essence of a sweet romance that a warm-hearted person who’s been well protected keeps being protected and loved with warmth, and then gets to keep loving others too?

A sweet little treat. If it’s not sweet, eat a power bank.

A doctor, a normal person (emphasis), and a top’s point of view. You’ve been warned.

Shut-in: This guy looks kind of like a dog??

-- A socially active, middle-aged, single corporate drone, and a genuine attending physician

Social butterfly: This guy looks kind of like a dog!!

-- A shut-in, lazy single slacker, and a bona fide game streamer

Shut-in & Social butterfly: I think we can get along just fine!

And so began a battlefield on the scale of two continental plates colliding.

Bystander: Even now, I still have no idea how they ended up getting partners together.

Friends stick together for life. Whoever finds a partner first is a dog.

Those days are gone, so if you find a buddy, be a dog.

This society needs love to save it (smile)

When you’re stressed and busy as a dog, you just have to write a comedy!

And I hope that whenever you read this story in the future, whether you simply have a sweet tooth or you’re so heartsick and sad that you desperately need the comfort of something sweet, you’ll feel the beauty of a little corner of this world in this giant sweet treat.
