Stop Trying to Save Me

Bai Yu has a secret: He knows a lot of people’s secrets. His little sister dozes off in class because she secretly works part-time as a magical girl at night. His childhood friend often acts suspiciously gay, not because he has a crush on Bai Yu, but to meet the KPI for his harem System and gather affection points. The utterly ordinary guy next door gets transmigrated into someone else every day. And that fortune-teller, Xu the Blind, outside the market really is a half-immortal who failed his tribulation. Bai Yu: ...I often feel like I don’t fit in with you all because I don’t have a secret identity. One day, a transfer student joins the class. He’s tall and long-legged, with a rebellious look in his eyes. He stares at everyone as if they’re already dead, but the moment he sees Bai Yu, his eyes light up. During PE, Bai Yu gets hit on the head by a basketball. Several boys rush over to apologize, only to be kicked to the ground one after another. The transfer student holds Bai Yu protectively in his arms and snarls, “No one protected him before. From now on, I’m here, and I won’t let you hurt him again!” The boys: “...” Bai Yu: “...” A character card floats above the transfer student’s head: Xuan Feng, someone who transmigrated into a book. Goal: Save Bai Yu. Bai Yu: ? Principal: “Now, let’s welcome Bai Yu to the stage to receive his award.” Xuan Feng scowls. “Hah, you despicable villain. You’re trying to humiliate him in public.” Little sister: “Bro, pass me that egg dumpling.” Xuan Feng glares. “Hmph, evil half-sister, always coveting your things.” Childhood friend: “Come compare answers with me after school.” Xuan Feng grabs Bai Yu’s hand, his eyes red with anger. “That scumbag has already gotten involved with your half-sister. He doesn’t love you! He’s just using you!” Bai Yu: “...” Maybe you can stop trying to save me.
