The Fairy in the Umbrella: A Tale of Imitating Xi Shi

[Announcement! This story will be completed and go VIP on the afternoon of March 17. The chapters being moved behind the paywall start at Chapter 30, so if you've already read them, you don't need to buy them again. Thanks for all your support, and please keep supporting me!]

Serious blurb: They say that Zhuluo Village has an eastern and a western settlement. Yiguang lives in the western settlement, so everyone calls her Xishi. The other daughter of the Shi family is called Dongshi. But the two women are as different in looks as heaven and earth.

Fan Li: Dongshi imitating Xishi is laughable. Fuchai: That woman is so strangely ugly. Get her out of here.

Silly blurb: An ugly girl, used to being scorned and desperate to become beautiful, finds an amnesiac celestial lord who has fallen to the mortal world.

The ugly girl gets it into her head that she can trade for a beautiful face and a new identity.

The celestial lord grants her wish, then leaves in a fury. What will become of their fates...?

One-on-one romance. If you like it, please add it to your favorites. A friendly reminder:

1. The female lead is vain at first, so don't read if that's not your thing. She'll see the error of her ways later. The male lead is an unknown being, Luo Sheng (actually a deity).

2. Historical accuracy buffs, please be warned! The author has limited writing skills and historical knowledge, and only wants to do their best to tell the story in their heart. (Suggestions welcome, personal attacks are not.)

P.S. Please add my historical rebirth novel, The Candle Song's Call, to your favorites.

Theme: Doing wrong comes at a price.
