The Darkened Male Supporting Character Is My Deskmate

[New story now underway~~ See my profile for ongoing and completed works~~] Lan Xiaoque discovers that she is a cannon-fodder female supporting character in a book, and that her deskmate is a devoted male supporting character who will turn evil. One day, after losing the heroine, her deskmate will release a virus that destroys Earth, leaving Lan Xiaoque's entire family dead without a trace. ...That doesn't sound good! To save Earth and herself, Lan Xiaoque is always brimming with enthusiasm and energy. She feeds her deskmate positive ideas, teaches him the core socialist values, and even helps him pursue the heroine with all his might, doing everything she can to make his wishes come true. But for some reason, her deskmate still turns evil! Lan Xiaoque is on the verge of tears. "I'll never recite the Eight Honors and Eight Shames to you again. Can you let go of me first?" Yan Gai holds her tightly in his arms, his dark eyes seemingly ablaze, his gaze restrained and controlled. After a moment, he pleads in a hoarse, quiet voice, "Don't push me onto someone else... I'll go mad." Lan Xiaoque: "???" Wait, male supporting character, I think you picked up the wrong script! [Little Scene] At the start of the school year Lan Xiaoque: "Can we be good friends? You're exactly my type." Yan Gai: "..." (Can't be bothered to answer.) Later Yan Gai: "Didn't you want to be friends? Come here." Lan Xiaoque: "N-no, thanks. I need to go home and do my homework." Yan Gai chuckles softly. "Come to my place. I'll help you with it." Lan Xiaoque: "...Get lost!" * You are the light I will pursue forever. * *Notes 1.
