Encountering Immortals

The young master of the Dongfang family is killed by a butterfly dart, which vanished from the martial world ten years ago.

The clues point to a person who doesn't exist.

The world's most meddlesome man, the "Jade-Faced Divine Detective" Bai Rulian, travels to the Nine Nether Palace in the South Sea to investigate.

Bai Rulian's best friend, the "Number One Sword of Jiuhua" Pei Yingshui, follows him for thousands of miles.

Bai Rulian hurriedly grabs him, gazing into his eyes with a wistful look. "Ashui, after all this time apart, surely you don't intend to leave without staying to talk by candlelight and sleep side by side with me?"

Pei Yingshui coldly shakes off his hand and glares at him with a look sharp as a blade, then walks away without looking back.

Three months later, another bloody case unfolds at Baoguo Temple. The entire temple is slaughtered.

Once again, the clues point to the butterfly dart and the Snowless Sect.

The "Ink Butterfly Gentleman" Xie Hehuan, the world's most amorous man,

meets Shen Yufeng, the world's most straightforward man, known as the "Wind-Returning Saber."

After adventuring together, will they stay by each other's side for the rest of their lives?

"You said it on the very first night: 'Sleeping in Shen's arms is so comfortable.'" Shen Yufeng shuts Xie Hehuan down with a single sentence.

"..." Xie Hehuan feels his face sting. Having his own words used to slap him in the face is absolutely awful. "Brother Shen, I feel nothing for you but friendship. There's nothing romantic between us. Do you understand?"

Shen Yufeng suddenly curls his lips into a smile. The faint smile lends his handsome face a hint of wicked charm, and his eyes take on a wild edge. He slowly leans close to Xie Hehuan's ear and murmurs in a low, sensual voice, "What about this?"

P.S.

1. The story mainly follows martial-world mysteries. Some cultivation elements will be added as the plot requires, but they aren't the main focus. This is a martial-world story, not a cultivation leveling story.

2. There are two storylines. Love-at-first-sight, direct couple: a scheming, domineering, devoted top and a dashing, flirtatious, queenly bottom; long-married couple who secretly pine for each other: a gentle, slow-witted detective top and a cool, serious swordsman bottom.

3. I'm almost out of chapters in reserve, so updates may switch to every other day from now on orz~
