I Don't Want to Reclaim My Throne

Mu Chongyu was unfortunate enough to become the ruler of a fallen kingdom. Every day, he busied himself with plans to restore his country, recruiting soldiers and horses and winning over ambitious heroes. But why did he always feel like he and these heroes were never on the same wavelength?! Mu Chongyu: General, shall we discuss how to allocate our troops? The general blushed: I shall take Your Majesty to try the new pastry shop in the north of the city! Mu Chongyu: ...Then let's talk about provisions first. The general fidgeted: I think Your Majesty looks even more handsome today~ I'm talking to you about restoring my country, so why are you blushing at me?!!!! Strategist, let's go. If this one won't work, we'll try the next! The strategist gazed at him tenderly: Your Majesty is even more captivating when angry~~ Mu Chongyu: ...And then he died. Damn it, at this rate, when will I ever restore Great Yan?!!!! My plan to restore the kingdom has failed again. Ask me how much sorrow I can bear, like a river of spring water flowing east. Other works by the author: Raising a Human: Humans are so soft and adorable. Interstellar Bigshot Qin Shi Huang: Once I get in a mech, I'll be the most awesome emperor ever. Be a True Phoenix Man: I'm the genuine article, a Phoenix Man. Please note: 1. Main character is the uke, one-on-one romance, and the seme is reborn as the emperor of an enemy kingdom. 2. You can tell from the blurb how indulgent the uke is. I can't help it. I've been fantasizing about a deliciously indulgent fallen king for ages. 3. The author knows nothing, so please don't nitpick. The setting is fictional anyway, so there's nothing to fact-check. Hahaha. Theme:
