Flame wars are an everyday occurrence in the Chinese voice-acting fandom. And as a major voice actor with a natural talent for getting dragged into them, Fang Yintian says in alarm: Oh no, oh no! Nobody's insulted me for five whole minutes. I'm starting to panic! Meanwhile, the flame-war trolls say: What the hell is Yintian supposed to mean? I have to look it up on Baidu before I can even insult him. Damn it!!!
So, while everyone was making confused faces and saying "Excuse me?", in one group chat:
Producer: "That 'Start a Fire' big shot."
Screenwriter: "That 'Bastard' big shot."
Promoter: "That 'Start a Fire Bastard' big shot."
Yintian: "Hahahahahaha."
Everyone: "..."
Then, on a sunny, breezy day, a semi-reclusive, god-tier voice actor, famous writer, director, and audio editor saw those two characters for the first time. He spent ages flipping through dictionaries, then replied with utmost seriousness: "Yintian. Such a cultured name. I stand corrected."
Fang Yintian: "..." Damn it, is "such a cultured name" some new kind of sarcastic taunt???
