Stay Away from Me, You Villainous Minister

When the heroine was five:

Li Yuankang: Zhuo'an, you're so good to me!

Hu Zhuo'an: If I weren't good to you, who would I be good to? Don't worry, I'll always be good to you!

When the heroine was fifteen:

Li Yuankang: Zhuo'an, Zhuo'an! It's been so long. I've missed you so much!

Hu Zhuo'an: You son of a treacherous minister, how dare you spout such nonsense! Do you want to ruin my reputation?

Li Yuankang: ...Didn't you say you'd always be good to me?

Hu Zhuo'an: Nonsense! Why would I have anything to do with the son of a treacherous minister?

#What happens when a big age gap makes two people's memories diverge?#

#My wife loves my background, not me#

#Ten years later, there's no longer any reason to embrace#

Two distinguished families each produced a son who became a treacherous minister. The other upright families all insist they want nothing to do with him, but the minister has a headache: his son has set his heart on a bride who's still among those upright families. How are we supposed to spirit our daughter-in-law out of there? Answers wanted, urgent!

P.S. The blurb is just the author's way of being cute. Trust me, this is a thoroughly serious historical drama.
