Changing the Top

Modern setting A new love interest takes over The protagonist dumps his cheating scumbag ex and gets together with the devoted man who has secretly loved him for years. The proper male lead is beginning to take shape (first love, first kiss, first night). I originally planned to write a revenge story, but now I'm increasingly protective of the protagonist. So I'm not writing a story about the protagonist being entangled with the scumbag for life. Scumbags aren't worth it. Theme: Don't pine for trash.
