No One Pities Him

Bian Lu is a pitiful nobody everyone can bully. He suffers domestic abuse at home and bullying at school. Fortunately, he's fairly clever and gets into a top university as he'd hoped. The very day he receives his acceptance letter, he runs away. On the first day of school, an older female student leads Bian Lu to the dorm. He opens the door and sees a tall, handsome man smoking on the balcony. Naturally assuming the man is one of his roommates' parents, Bian Lu politely greets him in a timid voice: "Hello, Uncle." The man puts out his cigarette and glances at him, giving an almost amused "Hmm." The older student quietly tells Bian Lu, "His name is Zhang Jian. He got in through the adult college entrance exam, and he's in your class." * From the very first day they meet, Bian Lu is afraid of Zhang Jian: afraid of the dangerous aura around him, and of the rumors that he has killed someone and been to prison. Bian Lu does his best to stay invisible. He never initiates conversation with Zhang Jian and avoids him like the plague. One day after class, Zhang Jian corners Bian Lu in the men's restroom and asks with an innocent look, "What did I do to make you so afraid of me?" Bian Lu denies it, trembling: "I-I’m not afraid of you..." Zhang Jian chuckles. "Then you must like me." Before Bian Lu can retort, Zhang Jian suddenly lowers his head and gives him a deep kiss that tastes of tobacco. From then on, Bian Lu's world is turned upside down. Tips: 1. A long-legged, home-invading Sugar Daddy type vs. an avoidant little sad sack. There's a big age gap and a big height difference. 2. There may be some mildly coercive romance scenes. The emotional intensity is high. 3. If you encounter a trigger, click the X and leave immediately. Please don't argue. Love & Peace. Theme: Love makes the proud bow their heads and gives the timid courage.
