Hot Wind, Blowing Rain

In the autumn of 1921, Ye Mi was framed and thrown into prison. With his delicate skin and stunning beauty, locking him up with a group of ravenous men was like sending a lamb into a den of wolves. To protect himself, he found a tough man to shelter him as soon as he arrived, and served only Dan Yuwen. * The following spring, a friend cleared Ye Mi's name. Before he was released, Dan Yuwen gave him an address and coaxed and threatened him at once: "Go there and wait for me. If you dare run off, I'll break your legs." Ye Mi curled up in his arms like a cat and promised with tearful eyes, "Don't worry. I'll wait right here for you, like a good boy." Before long, Dan Yuwen finished his sentence and was released, only to find that Ye Mi had vanished without a trace. Only then did he realize that he hadn't been the one playing Ye Mi. Ye Mi had been playing him. * When Dan Yuwen heard that Ye Mi had gone south to Nanyang, he chased after him. After searching for months, like looking for a needle in the sea, he finally found him in Siam. Ye Mi was gravely wounded, lying in a ramshackle hut and waiting to die. Like a flower about to wither, he possessed a unique, tragic beauty. Looking at Dan Yuwen, who had appeared out of nowhere, he managed a bleak smile and said weakly, "We were only lovers for a few days. Why pursue me so relentlessly?" Tips: 1. A delicate, sweet-looking but ruthless little white flower vs. a vile, rotten-hearted villain trapped by love. 2. Set in an alternate Republican-era China. Please don't conflate it with real history. 3. Blurb posted on 2025.11.26, screenshot saved. Theme: Overcome strength with gentleness
