Confession

Beautiful TV Host × Pilot

After ending a terrible relationship, Liang Muzhi went alone to a historic town in Jiangnan to clear her head.

That day, a gentle drizzle suddenly began on her way back to the guesthouse. Holding up her skirt, she jogged along, then suddenly slowed as she reached a stone bridge.

A young man leaned casually against the bridge railing, wearing headphones as he stood in the rain. The drizzle had dampened his hair and lightly soaked his clothes, but he seemed to be enjoying the moment, utterly unlike anyone else.

Liang Muzhi felt her heart leap. As if by some unspoken understanding, the next second he looked her way, and their gazes met briefly.

Without a word, Liang Muzhi continued walking, not looking back. She knew, without either of them saying so, that he had followed her.

Those were wild, carefree days. Liang Muzhi had meant to stay in the old town for only a week, but ended up there for an entire month.

They did everything lovers do, yet neither of them ever confirmed their relationship.

They both knew that after a month, their brief encounter would end, and they would go their separate ways.

She would return to her ordinary life, while he would follow his family's plans and go abroad to study.

At the airport, they stood in silence as they said goodbye. After hesitating for a while, Li Xun took out his phone. Liang Muzhi saw what he was about to do and smiled. "Let's not add each other on WeChat."

Li Xun looked at her quietly.

"All right."

They met in a Jiangnan town, reunited at thirty thousand feet, and he confessed his love to her.
