The Plantagenets: Road to Dynasty

After fifteen years of sharing a bed but dreaming different dreams, Eleanor of Aquitaine finally got her wish and divorced Louis VII, King of France. The moment she was free, a host of suitors began vying for her, including Theobald V, Count of Blois, and Geoffrey of Anjou. But just eight weeks after leaving the French court, Eleanor secretly married Henry at Poitiers: a descendant of the so-called Devil's Daughter, a great-great-grandson of William the Conqueror, Count of Anjou, Duke of Normandy, and future King of England. He was also a man ten years younger than her. The founding lust of the Plantagenet dynasty. From the devil we sprang and to the devil we shall go. Content warning: The heroine is nearly ten years older than the hero. The heroine is a Mary Sue, and the hero is a scumbag. They're both extreme characters who stir up trouble wherever they go. I will definitely write this story. When I do depends on fate. Theme: She's not a strong female lead, she's a Mary Sue.
