With you, I sat in peace, traded lines, and read a poem. With you, I leaned shoulder to shoulder late at night, and spent an afternoon watching youth go by. What kind of closeness did we hope for? Timidity and disappointment, time and space and flight. In the end, all that remains is a simple, "I hope you've been well." The main setting is a university campus.
