The Book of Tracing Back Through Time (GL)

On the Bridge of Helplessness, one asks what can be done. Right and wrong cannot cross the River of Forgetfulness. Before the Three Lives Stone, there is no right or wrong. Beside the Look-Back Terrace, one meets Granny Meng. When mortals die, ghostly officials escort them, using ghost tallies as proof. They pass through the Gates of Hell and travel the Yellow Springs Road. Before the Bridge of Helplessness, they look back at the human world from the Look-Back Terrace. They must pass through three trials of helplessness to answer for the sins of this life, then drink Granny Meng's soup and forget everything. Only then can they enter the cycle of reincarnation. The Underworld is vast. Above it stand the Great Emperor of Fengdu and the Five Ghost Emperors, but the affairs of the realm are all managed by the Kings of Hell, with judges and lesser ghosts to assist them. Yet by the banks of the River of Forgetfulness stands a small cottage, where a person called Su Wenjun lives. He was suddenly given the task of tracing past lives with a single stroke of his brush. He answers to no King of Hell, and no one knows the reason behind his appointment. This is a companion novel to Xiang Huang's Tale. Like its sister story, it weaves together a series of short tales. The main characters are the tomb keeper and Su Wenjun from the Shang Xie story in Xiang Huang's Tale. I think this one will have an actual plot... A Guide to Rebuilding Herlands When Xia Lin woke up again, she was a little bewildered. She seemed to have been given a second chance at life. But the place where she woke up appeared to be a deserted island. This was way beyond having no money and not knowing her own background, wasn't it?! [Obtained Pebble x1] [Obtained Weeds x1] [Obtained Sand Crab Hatchling x1] [This sand crab hatchling is very small and doesn't look very tasty.] ?!! So she had a System, and it had started an island survival mode?! Later, Xia Lin discovered a small village, where the warm-hearted village chief led her to a run-down farm. ...Actually, was this a farming simulation game?! But why had a magic page unlocked in the silent System? Was this island survival mixed with a farming sim, along with a sword-and-sorcery RPG? Much later, Xia Lin stood on the beach again and looked back on the past. All she could do was sigh at how naive she'd been back then. An unconventional Western fantasy setting, featuring a mage and a lord. As always, the focus is on the main plot. Theme:
