The Medium Writer's Path to Godhood

My new novel, My Aunt Is the Villain's Stepmother, is now underway! Reborn, Mu Yao only wanted to make up for the regrets of her past life. But she never expected that after taking a trip through the underworld, her life as someone with the Yin-Yang Eyes, able to see ghosts, would become so wonderfully thrilling and dazzling. Not only would she achieve her original dream, she would also, quite unexpectedly... Infant spirits, corpse ghosts, curse magic... Shh, Mu Yao thinks she's seen far too much! @ The new novel following Spirit Medium, What in the World Has She Been Through? (originally titled The Foolish Author Saw a Ghost) is now underway. Synopsis: From the moment she could remember, An Ning knew she was different from other people. She was born with Heaven's Eyes, which let her communicate with the divine, see ghosts, and witness the past and future of all beings. An Ning's grandfather said that in the past, her Heaven's Eyes would have been a gift from Heaven, giving her a way to make a living. But in this day and age, when so many old traditions have faded away, they would only bring disaster. To stay alive, after the death of the grandfather who had protected her, An Ning had no choice but to inherit part of his craft and become the next female spirit medium… From a pitiful girl frightened by ghosts to a ghost's worst nightmare who can scare them herself, what in the world has An Ning been through? Oh, I forgot to mention: An Ning's grandfather was a Yin-Yang master who occasionally made coffins for people. But when coffin makers make coffins, what they're really making isn't coffins, but... ghosts. The three folk traditions (horse-riding mediums, Daoist mediums, and black mediums), coffin makers… The follow-up to Spirit Medium (What in the World Has She Been Through?) Another version of the blurb: Every writer dreams of becoming a great author, and Mu Yao was no exception. In her past life, she missed her best chance. In this life, with a little ghost by her side, she will climb to the top, one step at a time.
