(Digimon) Cyber Sleuth

Aiba Ami always thought she had been handed the script of a hot-blooded manga about saving the world. But the little brats on her bed, bawling their heads off, quickly brought her back to reality, forcing her to face the harsh truth of struggling to keep a household and earn money for formula.

Aiba Ami: Maybe I could start a harem story?

Anko: No, you can't. Black Gummymon peed again. You need to change the sheets.

Ami: This isn't how it was supposed to go. The ones at the Nokia household can be raised from the easygoing Rookie stage, and even the Pokemon in the show next door can be caught just by going out and finding them.

Years later, when the little ones have grown up and want to confess their love, Ami still remembers them as the pathetic little bundles on the balcony, surrounded by sheets stained with pee. Looking at the kids who no longer need diapers, she smiles like a proud mom.

Theme: Saving the little ones who have gone astray is our duty.
