Awakening

The story ended all of a sudden, and I felt a little strangely disappointed. Awakening is definitely a hack (at least in the works I've read), but it's also really well written. The character portrayal, the plot design, and the cross-conversion of story lines are all great. Although you keep saying that the first volume of Awakening is hopelessly bad, I think it's okay (maybe it's because I didn't use my brain when I read it ×). However, it is far less tragic than the tragic feeling of Chang Sheng leading the Far East Army in a last-ditch battle and suffering heavy casualties. After the civil war ended, when I went to Wodo, I guessed that Chang Sheng might surrender to the enemy, but seeing the black dragon resurrected, Wodo falling overnight, and Chang Sheng becoming cold-blooded and ruthless was still a bit unacceptable. Later, during the battle in the Imperial Capital of Kenosus, Netherworld transformed into a dragon to fight but was expelled. I think it was not just because humans were afraid of the power of the dragons. The dragon-slaying war a thousand years ago has been forgotten by people. Except for a few insiders, ordinary people should not have strong hatred for the dragon clan. However, in order to prevent the black dragon from resurrecting, Chang Sheng made many warriors realize that the black dragon is the enemy. In addition, Chang Sheng once transformed into a dragon (white dragon) and fought against Ainota's army, which also affected the residents of Warwicks. After the black dragon resurrected, he captured Waldo and Egot, which made people think that the dragons are all evil existences. (I thought it was a bit outrageous that Chang Sheng was able to fight the Black Dragon in the last chapter and both sides were injured. After all, the Black Dragon was written to be so strong.) The hatred of aliens, the separation of lovers, the pain of eternal life, the obsession of thousands of years, the choice between true love and righteousness, everyone carries a tragic past and longs to change the tragic fate. After being cut to pieces by thousands of knives, this thorny novel finally comes to an end. The beautiful longing for the ending makes readers no longer care about the pain caused by the flying knives in the article, as if it is a bitter sugar that will eventually be rewarded. The ending... Is he! Although Waldo and Eggert no longer exist, although no one in the supporting role survives, and although the two protagonists are separated by yin and yang, it is still he! ! ! (It doesn't count as be anyway) By the way, are Lishi's demons and Elho's demons from the same clan? I feel that Lishi's demons are so strong and can push Mog to a narrow escape. Judging from the performance, Mog should be considered a strong player in T2 and T3 on Elhe's side. Finally, I want to complain, the black dragon is resurrected, five tribes are in danger, but only one tribe is in danger, the orcs (if the elves hadn't moved there in the end, I almost forgot about this tribe) and the giants were fishing all the time. After Xiao Sheng turned black, I always thought that in the end, Xiao Zheng would reverse time and space and go back to before Xiao Sheng turned black to stop her and eavesdrop on the priest. A tragic story and a beautiful world. It would definitely look great if it were made into a series. It is also one of my favorite books with similar themes, and I will definitely come back to it in the future.
