The Queen’s Choice [Football]

On April 12, 2026 (Beijing time), Bundesliga Union Berlin officially announced that Marie-Louise Etta will take over as head coach. Etta has thus become the first female head coach in the five major leagues! I knew this day would come 😭 It's been 10 years and 8 days since the release of the first chapter of "The Queen's Choice"!

Seeing that Mary of Union Berlin took on the role of head coach of the first team and became the first female head coach of the men's football team in the five major leagues, I remembered that Ms. Ll also started her career as a head coach. At this time in the novel's timeline, ll should have given birth to two children and taken a job at Barcelona.

I'm still upset after the second brush, so I'll post a post to commemorate the lovely people (spoiler alert! And I'm a person who doesn't have any interesting points in reading novels. I suggest that babies with a lot of interesting points should stay away. The novel is quite bloody to some extent, but Gu Jida's writing is really powerful, and in my opinion, all developments are logical) It is a story about love and dreams, about choice, about how we only live once. It is also a highly idealistic story, an eternal fairy tale. Rational choices may not be correct, and emotional choices may not bring bad consequences. Karma is a bitch. The randomness and inevitability of cause and effect have always been difficult to interpret. It is too early for humans to play God. Every character is so vivid, as if there really is such a parallel world, where the queen leads her blue and white army to conquer all directions. Because I was a complete outsider in football before, I couldn't objectively evaluate the parts involving football theory, but the game scenes in the article really made people boil, and the football wisdom overflowing in the text was also fascinating. So I read and learned various football game rules all the way, and explored the wisdom of maintaining harmony in the locker room. Controlling the rhythm on the court, tricks to deceive opponents, insights into key time periods with a burst of inspiration, the possible direction of the game under different permutations and combinations, crazy and wonderful changes, clever and humorous responses to the all-pervasive media, it also caused the players' injury problems, and I felt like I fell in love with this sport~ the Queen: Cristine-Ling-Lu (Tina) - full of idealism, strong and charming, aggressive and stingy, narcissistic and occasionally clumsy, singing like a crow and dancing like a frog falling into boiling water, but she is the smartest, sexy and beautiful Tina in the world! A woman like a cheetah is frank and passionate about her desires. She never becomes the chosen one, but takes the initiative to create choices for herself. No matter what, I love her~~ It was your first time on the stand as an assistant coach, and you were shaking after being teased by fans as "sweetheart". Nike asked you, how does it feel to be called "sweetheart" by fans? ——Of course it makes me stronger. Public opinion has never let her go, but she knows that there are always some people who are stupid. You can't change them, you just need to accept their existence. Under heavy pressure, you stepped on your own bruises and became a real queen. She told the player she was interested in, "You can choose to join Bayern, Real Madrid, or Barcelona, but if your goal is to be No. 1 In the world, unfortunately, you made the wrong choice. I can lead the 'small club' to defeat Guardiola and have a tie with Mourinho, so I will also defeat your team, no matter where you are." Lu Ling did it. She fought side by side with her blue and white team, defeated countless opponents, and achieved dazzling victories one after another. She is looking for the ultimate laws of football and her own philosophy. It may not be possible to find them all, but it doesn't matter, because this is why she loves this sport... The relationship with his family is also too real. After his father retired due to injury, he became addicted to gambling and even stole the money his daughter saved from working to get a coaching certificate to gamble. However, such a father gave her love and dreams. He would secretly come to watch her football games and ridiculously bet on her team to lose for her because he believed that if he bet on her team to lose, they would win. He hoped that his bad luck would be exchanged for her good luck. The mother, who was completely disillusioned with her father who had repeatedly relapsed into drug addiction, had literally never been involved in her daughter's thirteen years of life after leaving London and vowing never to go back. But she never forgot to send gifts every year on her birthday and Christmas, and would tell her neighbors in the whole neighborhood that she had an only child, her daughter, on the other side of the ocean in England. Tina has always been talkative, but she always refused to communicate with these two people. Until later, maybe time healed her pain. What she is waiting for is not a prince or a knight, she is waiting for an astronaut who wants to go on a space adventure just like her, and she will take him there~ the King: Patrick Amber (Pat AKA Patrick Fucking Amber?) - A pretty boy who is cool in nature, but also likes to pretend to be cool. He is frank and direct. Like the youth of his generation, he likes to listen to Lil Wayne. He is occasionally old-school and seems to not care about anything. In fact, he will definitely get what he wants. He is endowed with the most primitive joy and beauty of football! Today's hat-trick hero, tomorrow's Mr. Ballon d'Or, it only took this beautiful boy three and a half years. You told Tina that before you became a grandfather, you wanted to score the best goal in the world, even better than Maradona's. Maybe, you broke through from your own penalty area to the opponent's penalty area, and you really did it! Pat's growth line is also wonderful. At the beginning, the boy was childish and unruly. Although Tina didn't need it, he always wanted to protect Tina (of course, there was also a youthful beauty); he learned how being with Tina would hurt Tina, who was fashionable and not strong enough at the time. It was the catalyst for his growth. He chose to go to Barcelona. On that birthday, he gave Pat the Tina to her because "I know you are a proud captain, and I let you go far away because I love you." Although this decision broke the hearts of both of them (as a Tina party member, I was angry, helpless and happy with Pat's decision. The angry thing was that , Pat was too reckless during this period. When he realized his feelings, he intervened arbitrarily between Nina and became the trigger for Tina and Nike to separate. However, when Tina made a decision and firmly wanted to face the cruel public opinion field and unpredictable career future, Pat realized that the two of them were in this situation. What kind of price would Tina have to pay if she wants to be with Tina openly at the beginning of her career? Separating from Tina at this time is harmful. Although the reckless love in this period is delicious, it is also poison. What is helpless and gratifying is that when things have developed to this point, it may be better and more mature for Pat to choose to leave. Choice, otherwise I can't imagine what kind of devastating blow Tina's career would have suffered without the support of a strong title at this time) The grown-up Pat is really surprising. He did not choose to "step forward" and be Tina's "knight" when the relationship between the two was exposed, but just supported and encouraged each other with Tina. On the court, that little boy also grew up step by step from just wanting to get the ball past others to a reliable captain in the World Cup who could restrain his instincts and choose the best solution. Pat and Tina's fairy tale ending was so beautiful that it made people cry, but they were worth it. The God: Nicolas Flores (Nike) - arrogant and elegant, pursuing absolute control, all in and take control is his motto, sometimes he is a fucking asshole, but he is really charming, always calm and calm, his dark brown eyes are full of wisdom and arrogance Nike and Tina are like mirror images, like true soul mates, always connected. The chemical reaction with Tina is really impossible to ignore, but perhaps because they are too similar, the two of them compete with each other between paranoia and liberalism, but they are always unable to directly reveal their inner feelings. In the end, they only become "fatal opponents." Although there is actually a little boy living inside of him, he can't help but show off his skills in front of Tina. Not bad, huh? He is like a swan. She once took a bag of bread to the lake to feed the swans. She both liked swans and hated swans. She said they looked good and were mates for life. They are also very proud, don't worry about being arrogant, but they are too territorial. He never yearned for marriage, but he would see her vulnerability about losing her father, so he wanted to give her a family and asked for her father's permission and blessing. That summer in Banus, did Nike really not know that Tina was not ready to make a lifelong commitment? I don't think so. That unfinished proposal was actually a gamble by Nike. That snowy night in Liverpool, the mistake he made, and the twenty-three months late, made his girl heartbroken, and then she went crazy for another man. Proud as Nike, every sleepless night he stares at the K of Spades growing on the thorn roses, the Joker's smile in front of him reminds him that things may be out of control, he wants a promise, even if it is a gamble, but he wants to be all in and take control After the breakup, he fell in love with drinking her favorite soy milk latte with a strange flavor, and she cut her hair very short and had a flower tattooed on the side of her hair. He knew that she missed him as crazily as he did at that time. "Don't knock on my door at night or I won't let you out" - a timeless classic. "When you drink, you have to look into my eyes." Tina wants to know why, but you only tell her, because I want you to do this. What you don't say is that I love your star-like eyes, and I also love my reflection in your eyes. If you had a gun and a bullet, who would you shoot? Patrick Amber or Christine Lu? ——Patrick Amber, for sure. Tina, you always forget and I'm still mad at you (Babe, I still love you) Never have to say goodbye, never really say goodbye Before us lies eternity; our souls Are love, and a continual farewell. Facing eternity; your soul and mine, It's love, but it's also an endless separation. ——W. B. Yeats However, is there an opportunity for him and her to have a fairy tale ending? Maybe, in a parallel world, after you have experienced separation and reunification, you can be less duplicitous, fulfill each other's pride, let go of some of your paranoia, no longer pursue victory in the so-called love game, and take off the mask of "I don't love you that much" Pana or Nina? ——To be honest, I am sure that Tina and Pat will have a happy ending together. Pat is really a partner that is very suitable for our queen. When it comes to some sensitive topics, Pat is very good at communicating with Tina through roundabout ways, who is extremely sensitive to remarks that objectify women, and can always heal Tina who is actually not very secure in intimate relationships. They are each other's sunshine. But the chemical reaction and countless connections between Nike and Tina cannot be ignored, the time together is always short but warm and sweet, and Nike is portrayed in such a three-dimensional and real way that I can never let go of the other possibility. Every time I look at Pana's sweetness, a bald man will appear in my mind, sitting alone on the sofa watching a football game, with 442 and 352 lying on their stomachs next to them. Benjamin Hamilton - the original "outstanding heir", when he arrived at Fulham, was called "the rich boy", and now he is more often called "Ben". The outside world also calls him "the young international" and "England's Pirlo". You don't care about the labels others give you, although Benjamin Hamilton's world will one day be connected with Christine Lu's world. From then on, he will always be her soldier. In the days when he fought side by side with the Blue and White Army, he could always guess the signal sent by each of her eyes and gestures - "Why don't you try to lie to me?" "Because I can't lie to you." He was her phantom, and the roses in front of the office door were his letting go, but it was not the ending. Love is a touch and yet not a touch. Although hopeless love is heartbreaking, with the Blue and White Army Ian - Oh~ red-haired Ian, our captain, the most reliable captain in the world, when he is on the court, you will feel that you don't have to worry about anything. Phil - little bastard or little angel? A truly top troublemaker, both on and off the field. Phil may not be a superhero, but he must be the hero of Tiana (Phil's daughter). Who knew that this idiot or "super tough guy?" (Phil would definitely like this title), whose nose was crooked due to a fight and seemed like he couldn't even take care of himself, would become such an excellent father? If the tide bird didn't cry, he would break that bird's neck Ron - Ron's life has been a mess since he was young. He has experienced bad players, a bad youth, and a bad marriage, but he still longs for some illusory and perhaps indescribable things. The team he supports is not a belief for him, but a part of life, just like his favorite beer for decades. Although football is higher than beer, full of passion and dreams And the a-bomb with the same hot personality and figure as an atomic bomb, the tough guy Jake Bu from the Northeast, the best goalkeeper, Kaiser Hans in front of the goal, the cute agent Steve who doesn't mean what he says... The sky is filled with stars, and they all know that they are stars that cannot be lived up to, and they are ambitions and dreams that cannot be lived up to. In the flowing time, everything is changing, but some things remain standing. The road ahead is long, the legend will continue, the love will continue, here and elsewhere

I have completed three brushes in the 2026 World Cup season. I already know the ending and the final four crowns, but the last few chapters are intermittent and drag on, and I don't want it to end so soon. Thank you Gu Ji, thank you for writing this story.

In 2026, we are still waiting for the parallel world of Nick and Tina

Dembele really won the Ballon d'Or in 2025 hahaha

It's only an hour and a half to watch Union Berlin and support the first female manager in our top five leagues!

After watching the first time, I was too immersed in it, so I started reading it again intensively. I watched it completely twice in about a month and a half. Compared with the first time, when I read hurriedly to know what to follow, the second time I read at a much slower pace and paid more attention to details. I enjoyed watching the various echoes and foreshadowings and comparing them. The process of capturing the details and connecting them into lines to analyze the material was very interesting. In the later period, I almost felt like I was playing some kind of puzzle game, so I left many comments passionately. Such a strong desire for expression also shocked me. It has not appeared in me for a long time... I am sure that there will be three and four times, and the time interval will not be too long.

The emotional line and passionate career line of the drama. Fortunately, before the World Cup in the United States, Canada and Mexico, I was able to indulge in the charm of competitive sports again. I like Pana, I like destined relationships, and I like The one the only. Of course, no one will dislike Bromance in the locker room. The blood and passion of everyone working towards the same goal. After watching it, the whole person seems to be ignited.

This season, I watched the real football world, the dispute between the coach and the manager, the team's selection of the youth training, the remarks of the famous players, the bombardment of the press conference, the farewell of the players after the coach left the team, the controversial penalty of var, the differences between the players and the coach, and even the wave of comments about one person carrying the team. Reality and books are intertwined. The Queen is a miniature football planet. Are you okay?
