The Road to Becoming a Husky

When they found her, she was curled meekly in the ashes, which still held a little warmth, her messy black hair tangled all around her. Her eyes were big and bright, with a faint blue glow no human could possibly have. At first, people thought she was a wolf cub. Later, they discovered she was human. Wolves could be killed for meat, but humans only wasted food. So they sent her to the duke's castle, home to the infamous Duchess. A lighthearted, heartwarming little story about raising a child. It won't be too long. A certain noblewoman who prefers to remain anonymous hereby declares: This story's title has nothing to do with The Road to Servitude. A husky is not the same thing as servitude.
