Tiger Teeth

If we really drift apart, I think we’ll both go crazy

No one else will be there to dream with me

No one else will take me back to childhood one more time

I love to see you smile, showing those sharp little canine teeth

I love to watch you fly, then, tired, fall back into the palm of my hand

In the bottom drawer, I wrote a letter with no address

When you grow up, wherever you’re headed, will you see this page fluttering in the breeze?

I love to see you smile, showing those sharp little canine teeth

I love to watch you fly, then, tired, fall back into the palm of my hand

Draw a circle, and you and I will live inside it

The happiness you give me is enough to last me a lifetime

No matter how much hardship comes, you’ll make it sweet for me

Draw a circle, and you and I will live inside it

The world you want may not be what you hoped it would be

I’ll be here, slowly helping you understand it all
