Dare

Waiting for night, welcoming the day; cleaning by day, praying by night. Leaving the bustle behind, seeking out troubles; at the ends of the earth, on a whim.

Is anyone there? Is anyone coming to find me? I say hello, you say I'm intruding. Neither too early nor too late, after traveling a thousand miles, you arrive just in time.

Where can I find it, where can I find it? Everything is fine; there's no shortage of troubles.

I've seen a tsunami, but never your smile. I've caught a bird in flight, but never touched your feathers.

If it weren't for that early morning, when I said hello and you said I was intruding; if it weren't for my flowers and plants blooming at just the right time.

Where can I find it, where can I find it? Everything is fine; there's no shortage of troubles...
