The Cocoon Beneath the Bed

[Reposted old story] The usual blurb: Liang Hao: Come out from under the bed and eat. Mosi: ... Liang Hao: Didn't you hear me? If you don't come out, I'll crawl in there and eat you! Mosi puffed out his cheeks and turned away. Liang Hao: You've really got some nerve! If I catch you later, you can forget about sleeping tonight! Liang Hao crawled under the bed and pounced on Mosi, only for Mosi to shove him away in annoyance. In the end, with a thud, Liang Hao collapsed on top of Mosi and passed out. Bowen: ... Mosi: ... Bowen: It's dirty under the bed. Why don't you come out? I made your favorite braised pork. Mosi didn't move, just gazed at Bowen pitifully. Bowen: ... Mosi: ... Bowen: ...How about eating by the bed, then? You can go back under afterward. Mosi crawled out and rubbed against Bowen's arms like a cat, earning a wry smile. A gluttonous, mute fool of a gong (he'll be able to speak later) * a gentle shou. Switching the shou... I may have to agonize over the ending a bit. Theme: A story about a shou who always finds his gong curled up under the bed like a cocoon
