Just after Inuyasha had put down a rebellion in the south and returned to the capital, he was imprisoned by his imperial elder brother, the current emperor, Sesshomaru. I treated you like a brother, and you play games with me? I'll give you a taste of your own medicine and pull a disappearing act. With his safety in jeopardy, he thought of his childhood sweetheart, Kikyo. He still had to marry her and take her back to the frontier for a good life! How could he stay in the palace and play the good little brother? So he planned his escape while trying every possible way to protect himself. In this game, Inuyasha brought every strategy from Sun Tzu's Art of War and the Thirty-Six Stratagems to bear, doing everything he could to outwit his brother. But Sesshomaru effortlessly saw through every scheme. At the end of his rope, Inuyasha looked back and realized that something in his heart had begun to shift. Did he really feel nothing for Sesshomaru but brotherly affection? Most of the institutions in this story are based on the Tang Dynasty.
