I've Been No Trouble for Years [Infinite]

[First-time readers, be cautious about reading the comments: they contain some spoilers. If you want to know whether it has a happy ending, scroll down to the end of the blurb.] Zhu Huai was dragged into an indescribable survival game. The host called himself the “Keeper of Secrets (KP)” and cheerfully announced that as long as they could uncover the truth behind each bizarre incident, they could do whatever they pleased. Remembering those words, Zhu Huai gave a wicked smile. Back when she was a troublemaker, this guy was probably still off somewhere in a ditch. Zhu Huai: Let's cause trouble! Let's cause trouble! What's blinding me? Terrible ideas! Today I'm going to drink the strongest liquor, play with the sharpest knives, and die in the most spectacular way! Charm that NPC! Pick the villain's pocket! Stuff the monster into a sack! Set the BOSS's lair ablaze! Roll out the cannons and blast the hell out of them! KP: ... Damn it!! Who picked her for this game?!! Reader's Guide: 1. This isn't orthodox Cthulhu Mythos fiction. It includes my own interpretations of mythological creatures and spells, but you can enjoy it even if you don't know the Cthulhu Mythos. 2. Only some tabletop role-playing rules are used, and many have been heavily modified. This isn't a guide for real-life play. Also, due to a special setting in this story that can't be spoiled for now, all rulings should follow the story itself. As above, you can enjoy it even if you don't know the rules. 3. The male lead is set, and this is a one-on-one romance, but I won't spoil it so you can enjoy the story. 4. Overall, it has a happy ending, though some supporting characters have the particular kind of heartbreak associated with Cthulhu Mythos stories. 5. A friendly real-life reminder for anyone interested in trying tabletop role-playing: treasure your KP, and don't be a door-kicking troublemaker. (Finger heart.) 6. Please don't mention other authors' stories in my comments, and please don't mention my story in other people's comments. Thank you for being considerate. Theme: If you can imagine it, you can do it.
