The three jobs most favored by mothers in the demon world are civil servants at the Demon Realm Tower, staff at a demon hospital, and staff at a demon school. They come with secure positions and make it easy to find a partner. You can even hold your head high on a blind date! At her mother's urging, Marolly took the teaching exam for the demon school Gakumak and landed the job. She was ready to coast through demon life without making waves until she collected a generous pension, when Principal Belial asked, "Young demon, whose grandson is the cutest: Sullivan's, Levi's, or mine?" As a successful member of society, Marolly knew she was about to be transferred. She clung to the principal's leg and begged to be sent to Lebiyalon, but was still assigned to Babirus, a middling school that was neither as wild as Gakumak nor as strict as Lebiyalon. After six months on the job, she had managed to become involved in three office romances and was poised to start a fourth when the watchdog summoned her for a one-on-one meeting to complete her professional ethics training. Marolly: It's just normal dating between men and women. The three, dumped but still unable to get over it, drink, smoke, cry, and agonize over whether they failed to understand women or simply weren't good enough. They take their heartfelt troubles to their reliable senior, Dantalion, and say, "I really love her so much." Dantalion, smiling warmly, gently offers them a handkerchief. "Yes, yes, I love her so much, too." Her direct supervisor is her ex, and she turns him into her ex-ex right in front of him. Marolly x Dantalion It's honestly hard to tell which one takes the lead emotionally. She doesn't make a move on Karuuego or Shichiro. The three of them were classmates as students. She has felt a spark with every partner, but whether that makes her a heartbreaker is hard to say. (Lights cigarette.) Theme: Grant me his kiss as mercy for a sinner
