The King's Avatar: Unrivaled in the Flames of War

One shot pierces the clouds of smoke. In the blood-red twilight, battle rages. A murderous thought decides the victor. He strides away with his sword, dazzling flames blazing, the path of kingship paved through a sea of bones. Wildfire roars as it charges ahead, frost shatters and sends up a thousand waves. Wherever his bullets fly, Zhou Zekai is the law. Yet right on their heels, amid a hail of bullets, a streak of swordlight cuts through. Sharp and cutting, with no way back. Bones lie scattered all around. The swordlight points toward a battlefield without equal. --We met because of Glory. May our glory, like our meeting, never come to an end. A few notes for readers: 1. This is a failed attempt at being cool (* /ω\*), co-written with my friends. The prose and the blurb don't match at all! The pairing is the Gun King with the cowlick. Zhou, marry me, aaaaah! 2. Everything belongs to the great goddess Glory! There are lots of headcanons about the characters, and the heroine has a golden finger [hey! 3. The cowlick Zhou might be a little out of character, and sometimes the story may veer off into stalkerish, sultry territory... Ahem, but please keep loving me! Look into my sincere eyes! The cowlick Zhou is basically adorable and clueless, no explanation needed! ↓ Links to my friends' co-written stories! New authors are welcome to join too, 2333 ↓ The revisions are basically done. The first chapter's extra will include new content, and I'll also add a bit about the eleventh season w It shouldn't affect your reading much. Theme:
