"What is she to you?"

He raised his head, his empty eyes meeting the Overlord's.

"She is my heart."

If she dies, I die, too. If she lives well, I can keep living. We are one and the same.

Content warnings:

This is a true male-female romance. The original concept had branching routes, but this short story has no routes beyond the one with Judai.

This is a story written to indulge some very personal tastes, and includes extremely intense portrayals as well as my personal interpretation of Judai. The author isn't very good at playing card games yet, so there aren't many specific card-game scenes. If anything makes you uncomfortable, please stop reading.
