[Jian Wang 3 Fanfiction / Hua-Ce] Unrivaled

Hua Ye received a letter from home. Nu Ha'er said he was going to become a general and asked Hua Ye to come to Luoyang and see him in all his glory. Hua Ye wondered who knew whether Nu Ha'er was just blowing hot air. He probably had a grudge because Hua Ye hadn't visited him at the barracks in nearly half a year. Saying you want to be a general was one thing, but becoming one was a whole different matter. So Hua Ye wrote back, saying he'd thrown out his back and couldn't make it. A while later, a messenger shouted outside the door that Hua Ye had a letter. The name he called out wasn't quite right, though. Hua Ye cleaned out his ears and came out of the house. "Whose letter did you say?" "The general's wife." Hua Ye froze, then instantly snapped to attention. He snatched the letter from the messenger and took a close look. There were several large characters on the envelope: "For the General's Wife to Open." Hua Ye spat out his drink.
