Kurapika: ...When did the remnants of my clan become a wholesale market? How come I didn't know? Have I ever had a memory that cut to the bone? In the long river called life, the pain that eats away at your bones will stay with you forever, while happiness and warmth are easily forgotten. Have I ever known a moment of beauty? It once warmed my entire heart, yet time wore it away until nothing remained. When rage stirs in your chest, never forget. When you've lost something important, turn back and find it. Kurapika stands at the crossroads of memory.
Reader's notes: 1. This is a fanfiction of Hunter x Hunter. I can't claim it follows the original work completely, so canon purists beware. 2. It will hurt and heal you; the story's values are more or less upright. 3. Kurapika romance with a female character.
Theme: Hunter fanfiction
Dear Angel, people's injuries are not entirely due to fighting and plundering, but sometimes due to self-righteous protection.
The priest believed that by paying the price of robbing a life and bearing the sin of doing so, he allowed the local parishioners to accept a life that escaped the exploitation of businessmen. His self-conception of nobility and devotion is also a disservice.
The combination of Thief*2 is also great. Although he is forced to steal due to life, he still struggles and retains some emotions in his heart~
In other words, the effect of the two of them sentence after sentence is comparable to that of a repeater!
I don't know if there is another one, but it looks so good...
Thank you, madam, for really describing the cruel death side of him as an avenger, and also the angelic side of him. It's really good! Thank you
I'm curious, is something starting to change here? Kurapika tries to save
Bubbles, big hugs~
Good! Like! Love it so much! I haven't seen such a cool cool bg for a long time! Come on!
I haven't been able to find many good articles about Kurapika, so it's great to find this one! Please update~~
Angel finally wakes up~~~Spread flowers~~~ It's rare for Bingshan to care about others so obviously, and he was complained by Angel that he looks like his mother. It's really 2333333. In short, let's heat up the situation! Let's brew some warm emotions in the cold snow, hahahahaha!
I like the title and introduction of this chapter, it feels like the timelines are overlapping. For people in the past, they just chose their own lives in their own way and had no more worries. But as people from the future, watching this irreparable tragedy, it is absolutely impossible to be completely unmoved by it like watching a fire from the other side. What's more, Kurapika and Angel went deep into it this time, enjoying the dreamlike warmth among the happy and friendly tribesmen, walking farther and farther into the abyss with them, until the illusion ended at a certain moment, and they pulled out of it. They seemed to be connected to each other in the past, but they ended up on cross paths again.
This article reveals a subtle sense of disillusionment. Angel finally woke up from the bloody nightmare about his mother, saw Kurapika, and felt the closeness from Vanessa. Unfortunately, all of this was just another illusion. Perhaps to a certain extent, there may not be much difference in essence from the dark and terrifying dream that Angel was trapped in. Happiness and unhappiness are both impermanent.
