The General Lays Down Her Armor and Returns to the Countryside [Yuri]

Chen Lie disguised herself as a man and enlisted in the army in her father's place. Ten years later, her distinguished military achievements atoned for her crime of deceiving the emperor, and she retired from the army and returned to her hometown. Only then did she learn that, three years earlier, her parents had taken in a girl as their adopted daughter, named Biyu. Chen Biyu was as beautiful as a flower and so delicate one couldn't help but cherish her. Suitors almost wore down the threshold of the Chen household. But when Chen Lie looked at those ugly, ill-matched men, none of them seemed right. Every one of them was unworthy of her little sister. Later, Chen Lie and Biyu shared a bed. Seeing her in a red undergarment embroidered with mandarin ducks at play, her skin pale as snow where it showed, Chen Lie suddenly thought that if she weren't a woman, she could marry Biyu. Later still, this lovely girl, taking advantage of the wine, confessed the tender feelings she had kept hidden. Chen Lie had seen plenty of drunk people and could tell she was only pretending to be drunk. But her heart was aflame, and with the help of that jug of wine, some things quickly became impossible to stop.
