I'm Controlling Gin, Seriously?

[I’m not continuing the previous crossover with the DC and Marvel universes. I’ve switched to a new upcoming story.]

The game Red and Black: Deadly Showdown gets a major update. Xiao Chuan Li’ouna is the first to lie down in her full-dive pod and log in right on time, only to see a new character available to control.

What, I get to play Jin Jiu? Sounds interesting.

She eagerly enters the game, only to find herself in a scene where she has to execute a traitor to the organization.

Xiao Chuan Li’ouna: “Wow.”

But her aim is terrible, and she hasn’t inherited Jin Jiu’s muscle memory. In the chaos, the traitor gets away.

Before leaving, he gives her a meaningful look.

Li’ouna doesn’t care. She settles into a routine of sleeping during the day and logging in at night, occasionally using her bizarre antics to sabotage the organization, until her superior nearly mistakes her for a mole.

Then one day, Jin Jiu himself can’t take any more of her getting him into trouble.

“Get out of my body!”

What? Jin Jiu has his own consciousness? Wasn’t he supposed to be a controllable character?

She’s filing a complaint!

One day, Jin Jiu wakes up to find that he can’t control his body. All he can do is watch the idiot inhabiting it make one stupid mistake after another.

He can even hear her talking to herself.

“This traitor’s kind of handsome... Maybe I should let him off the hook?”

I think you need to let some of the water out of your head!

Jin Jiu pieces together the idiot’s real-world identity from what she says, then goes straight to her without hesitation and fires at her.

Nothing happens.

Not only can he not hurt her, but if someone else hurts her, the same wound appears on his body.

With no other choice, Jin Jiu has to keep her by his side.

But...

Could this idiot stop telling everyone she’s his kept canary?

Theme: Sincerity in, sincerity out.
