This is a revised edition of the author's debut novel, Hello, Lark. Even if you haven't read the original, you won't have any trouble following it. The protagonist is a little older than in the previous work, so I won't cringe while reading it myself.
It's been two years, and I want to see whether my writing has improved.
Sima Jinliang always thought she was a perfectly normal girl with her head on straight, until she woke up one morning and found a grown man lying next to her.
She's exhausted. She just wants to study hard, get into a good high school, and make something of her life. Why does someone always have to get in her way?
Her childhood friend, who has been saddled with a certain pineapple, pats her on the shoulder and tells her to stay strong. Her mom, who has quite a past, just smiles and says, "Daughter, you've finally followed in my footsteps."
Sima Jinliang flips the table. Stay strong, my foot! What kind of crazy path are you talking about? I'm not doing it! I can't take on something as dangerous as keeping a ferocious beast! I'm just a cute little girl who's only in eighth grade!
Hibari the ferocious beast: "Herbivore, what are you doing?"
Sima the scaredy-cat Jinliang: "N-nothing..."
Today, the roles of owner and pet have been switched once again.
A few things to know before reading:
1. A thousand readers will have a thousand different interpretations. I'll do my best to keep everyone in character, but there may still be some differences in interpretation, so read at your own risk.
2. The heroine is a total Mary Sue. Very, very Sue-ish. She has a cheat ability, and her background is unusual.
3. This is probably a silly, sweet story. I just want to sprinkle in some ordinary romance.
Come on, come on↖(^ω^)↗
