[Saint Seiya Fanfiction] Kiss of Fire

If you were given one chance, would you choose to live an extraordinary life in just one short year, or spend your days in a hospital bed, kept alive by medication and constantly terrified that Death might come for you? "That kind of life? You've got to be kidding!" "I might as well treat every day as my last." Always receiving Death's invitations, "Fate is nothing but an illusion. Nothing is predetermined. All you have to do is be true to yourself." Covering up my own sorrow with reckless abandon, "What good is sorrow? Better to keep going with a smile." Life is a raging fire. Only by throwing yourself into the flames can you shine. "I leapt into that fire from the very beginning and kissed its flames. The path I chose is a dazzling road to death. That's why I can reach the end without regrets." Life is short, so you have to burn it all away with your own hands. Rather than eke out a miserable existence, you should look forward to the future. It's because of emptiness that we want to fill it, even if pain is the foundation. Even grains of sand can burn and become crystal. It's because that light is beyond our reach that it dazzles us so. Even if it means being shattered to pieces, we must keep moving forward. "The ending I want is always waiting up ahead." Even if the ending means turning to dust and scattering on the wind, "I just want a tomorrow of my own." "Dégel! Kardia's brooding at the sunset again!" "Kardia! Quit spacing out and come home for dinner!" "Hey, hey! Put down that innocent apple. We can talk this out. I'm coming right over!"
